The music for your reception or party is not form fitted into a pre-selected agenda, we play whatever you or your guests enjoy the most. ACE can do this because we have a large musical library to draw from which is available in it's entirety on your special day. You may choose in advance what type of music you would or would not like played, but it has been my experience that a mixture of all works best. Requests are encouraged and quickly satisfied due to innovations in digital technology and music software that can locate and play songs within a few seconds.



The song database is constantly increasing past 40,000 titles with the latest hits that keep the party jumping. We all realize the importance of timing in any situation and quickly satisfying impromptu requests is usually the catalyst that sparks someone's enthusiasm, which in turn creates a chain reaction involving every one else.





Sound equipment is not only state of the art, but acoustically arranged to sound full without the blaring effect that can be annoying to some guests. ACE was one of the first in the area to utilize Mini Disc technology in 1992 which has many advantages over CD's. MP3 technology has also made it possible to carry many songs in a small storage device. The lastest digital upgrades has provided our service with an even more discrete and aesthetic footprint. Many times people come to me at the end of a reception and remark how great the music sounded but they could still carry on conversations with family and friends that they haven't seen in years. They also mention that they haven't danced as much in years too.

When you choose ACE DJ Service, you will be sent a contract guaranteeing your special day and usually a small retainer validates it. You will be sent a list of popular music and an information sheet, which will be completed by you, listing the specific wishes of your reception or party. For wedding receptions you will also receive a Wedding Reception Planner which outlines the time line of events for a typical reception. You may choose to follow these guidelines as closely or loosely as you wish. I also have two bridal dance songs to choose from, the traditional "Won't You Come and Dance with Her" or a mix of love songs from the 70's. Both are seamless versions that continue until the Bride's father or the person giving her away steps up for the last dance with the Bride.
